By requesting and instructing TwinHeat Services Ltd to carry out works, you (the "Customer") agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
All quotes and estimates are provided in good faith based on a visual inspection and information supplied by the Customer.
Payment is due immediately upon completion of the works, unless prior account arrangements have been made (e.g., for ongoing commercial contracts). For larger installations such as full bathroom refurbishments or new central heating systems, a deposit for materials may be required upfront before the work commences. TwinHeat Services Ltd accepts payment via bank transfer, cash, or card payment.
We will make every reasonable effort to arrive at the agreed time. However, due to the nature of emergency plumbing work, arrival times are estimates. If you need to cancel an appointment or scheduled work, we ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice. Failure to do so or failure to provide access to the property may incur a call-out charge.
TwinHeat Services Ltd takes pride in the quality of its craftsmanship:
The Customer must ensure clear access to the work area, including moving fragile or valuable items, furniture, and floor coverings before the engineer arrives. While we strive to work cleanly and respectfully, TwinHeat Services Ltd accepts no liability for accidental damage to items that were not cleared from the immediate working vicinity. Lifting of floorboards or floor coverings will be carried out with care, but it is the Customer's responsibility to replace them unless otherwise agreed.
TwinHeat Services Ltd shall not be held liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations due to events outside its reasonable control (Force Majeure), including but not limited to adverse weather, unavailability of parts, or transport disruptions. Our liability for any damage caused to the Customer's property shall not exceed the total cost of the invoice for the works carried out.
As Gas Safe registered engineers, we are legally bound to adhere to current safety regulations. If an existing gas appliance or installation is found to be unsafe or non-compliant, we are obligated to issue a warning notice and, if necessary, disconnect the appliance. Any remedial work required to meet safety standards is chargeable.
